Welcome to the Diocese of Nebraska Stewardship Resource Pages

We welcome you to the Diocese of Nebraska Stewardship Resource pages.  We hope that you will take time to browse through the information provided here as our effort to assist all of us to live out the life of a good steward to which each of us has been called.  For stewardship is not an annual program used to raise money for the budgets of our parishes, but rather it is a way of "being" and a way of living out our lives as baptised members of Christ's Church.

If you would like to know more about year around teaching concerning stewardship please click here to see a vast list of resources provided by the Episcopal Church Center office for Stewardship.

If you would like to learn more about Consecration Sunday, a way of celebrating God's gifts so freely given to us and how we can return a portion of those gifts for the work of the Church through an annual parish offering please click here

We also have infomation concerning planned giving,  and wills, and a number of stories describing how others have found ways to give to the work of the Church  through estate planning.

If you would like to find out more about TENS The Episcopal Network of Stewardship please go click here.

If you would like any futher information concerning stewardship, planned giving, or a possible capital campaign for your parish please feel free to contact me.

The Rev. Canon Tim Anderson

Canon for Development

Millennium Development Goals

The MDGs represent a global partnership that has grown from the commitments and targets established at the world summits of the 1990s. Responding to the world's main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction, education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality, AIDS and other diseases.
